Day 71
- 1 c. hot jasmine green tea with honey
- 1 c. hot jasmine green tea (using previous tea's leaves) with Stop Yer Swinin' and Bee Well electuary
- 1.5 c. Not Nog (hazelnut mylk, Medjool dates, coconut oil, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, nutmeg, black pepper)
- 4 c. kale salad (kale, red bell pepper, carrots, cucumbers, olives, garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, nutritional yeast, sea salt, black pepper); 1/2 c. brown rice with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, black pepper, garlic, and sea salt
- 1 medium Yerba Mate with honey and an Odwalla bar
- 2 c. Surf and Turf Soup (water, miso, wakame, wood ear mushrooms, carrots, onion, green beans, Chinese 5 Spice, sesame oil) served over sweet potato noodles
- 1.5 c. of Strawberry-Raspberry Sorbet (frozen strawberries, frozen raspberries, frozen bananas, water) with Chocolate Sauce (cacao powder, coconut oil, honey)
Today's Observations
Tonight's dinner was ROCKIN'!!! Mo and I found these sweet potato noodles at the Asian grocer. They look like greenish rice vermicelli and taste like vermicelli, too. Very wild. They only had sweet potato, water, and salt as the ingredients. Interesting. I was looking for a wheat-free alternative and the Asian grocer is chocked with them! And those wood ear mushrooms?!? They SO look like human ears floating around in your soup. Had to get used to that one... The other thing I wanted to mention was that Mo and I were out shopping today and both of us got hungry. I really need to stay away from wheat, so I found a good alternative: Odwalla bars. I know they aren't the most healthy choice, but better than the Cappucino Mousse I was eyeing. ; ) Seriously though... I was proud of myself.
