Day 72
- 1 c. hot jasmine green tea with honey
- 1 c. hot jasmine green tea (using previous tea's leaves) with honey
- Mo's Garbage Cereal (oats, goji berries, raisins, chia seeds, sesame seeds, banana, coconut flakes) with hazelnut mylk
- 1 c. hot Reishi Brew (reishi, fo-ti, vanilla bean, astragalus root, schizandra berries, goji berries)
- 1 apple
- 1 c. spring water
- lunch out at mall: white rice with steamed veggies (damned good choice, if I say so myself!); handful of dark chocolate-covered almonds; water
- Mexi-Mass (in layers: kale, brown rice, nutritional yeast, Jim's Salsa, guacamole)
Today's Observations
Pretty good day overall. I had an emotional moment in the car today where I found myself talking to Mo about how I'm making good choices around my eating (quantities, food types, etc.) and started to well up. I looked at her (for just a second, of course... I was driving, after all) and said, "You know, I never take time to celebrate my accomplishments. I work so hard to be the best person I can that I never just stop and celebrate." This is hard for me to do. I need to focus on that more often.
