Me Masks

No matter where I am, I try really, really hard to be who I am, authentically. I was encouraged at a younger age to change with the company I was keeping. This is a mask-making process and, I've found, incredibly unhealthy. I've been in company recently where I watched this schism in action and it was a real eye-opener.

Note: Capitalized recipes are my own - except when they're the restaurant's.

Day 89
  • one of my homemade raw vegan Mulled Berry Chocolates
  • cup of spring water
  • celery and veggie chips (those types of chip things that are slices of root veggies that are flash-fried) with red pepper hummus
  • celery and peanut butter (ugh... haven't had PB in ages... yeesh)
  • cup of hot decaf chai tea with honey
  • cup of hot decaf chai tea (reused bag) with honey
  • lots of sampling at a lovely potluck: celery and jalepenos dipped in raw organic goat's milk chevre, local Brie and Camembert, some bulghur salad, some mixed veggie and tempeh (I think salad), a couple of my Mulled Berry Chocolates, local blueberry wine and mead... ugh... that's all I can remember!

Today's Observations
Lisa has learned that drinking is no longer in her repetoire.
