Welcome to the Jungle (Peanuts)

Did you listen to your body, mind and spirit when you reached for that food item?

Note: Capitalized recipes are my own.

Day 29
  • 1/2 of this recipe, Superfood IceScream: 1.5 trays ice cubes, 1/4 c. goji berry juice, scant 1/4 c. honey, 3 T. cacao poweder, 2 T. almonds, 2 T. hazelnuts, 2 T. goji berries, 2 T. hemp protein powder, 1 tsp. maca, pinch of stevia, pinch of sea salt
  • 1 c. hot decaf chai tea with stevia
  • 1 c. hot blueberry white tea
  • snack from Whole Foods salad bar: 1 c. (cooked) curry and carrot soup, olive and roasted garlic roll
  • 1/3 of this recipe, Superfood IceScream: 2 trays ice cubes, 1/2 c. goji berry juice, 1/2 c. jungle peanuts, 1/4 c. honey, 3.5 T. cacao powder, 2 T. hemp protein powder, 2 T. goji berries, 1 T. mulberries, 1 tsp. maca, 1/2 tsp. sea salt, 1/2 tsp. stevia
  • 4 c. air-popped popcorn with Bragg's™ and nutritional yeast
  • 1 c. spring water
  • Banana Mash-Up: 1 banana, 1 avocado
Today's Observations
Not sold on those jungle peanuts. Don't think I'll be buying those again. They taste... green. Don't know any other way to say it. Thought peanuts and chocolate would taste good together, but not those peanuts. Too bad those are the only peanuts available that don't have aflatoxins.
