Unpacking My Acceptance

We have this bizarre acceptance of how food makes us feel. We either ignore it, see it and don't acknowledge it, or see it and make excuses for it. What the hell's that about? I'm working on unpacking this for myself.

Note: Capitalized recipes are my own.

Day 30
  • 1.5 c. spring water
  • 2/3 of this recipe, 2 c. (cooked) oatmeal with 1/4 c. pecans, 1/4 c. raisins, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, 2 T. honey, pinch of sea salt
  • 1 c. hot decaf chai with stevia
  • 1/2 of this recipe, Superfood IceScream: 1.5 trays of ice, 1/3 c. goji berry juice, 1/4 c. hazelnuts, scant 1/4 c. honey, 3 T. cacao powder, 2 T. goji berries, 2 T. hemp protein powder, 1 tsp. maca powder, 1/4 tsp. sea salt, 1/4 tsp. stevia
  • 1 c. hot Sweet Cinnamon herbal tea
  • 2/3 of an order of vegetable and tofu Pad Thai, 1 c. water
  • 1 banana
  • 2 Butternut Bars (spin-off of Frank Giglio's Pumpkin Bars... pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, butternut squash, coconut, dates, apricots, nutmeg, cinnamon, sea salt)
  • 3 c. spring water
Today's Observations
The tofu gave me a raging headache. Ugh. Think I'd figure that one out, hungh?
