Self-Kindness Comes in All Colours

Sometimes you need comfort. No blame, no guilt, no negative self-talk. Just take the comfort and move on.

Day 47
  • 1 c. hot jasmine green tea with honey
  • 1/3 of a medium-sized cup of hot decaf chai with almond mylk and honey from Whole Foods (Uck! This was really not good. I think it was just the brand of chai. Ended up chucking it. Blech!)
  • 1 olive roll
  • 16 oz. Poland Spring lime-flavoured seltzer
  • a spoonful-sized taste of my pecan pie filling made for my class
  • 2 c. of Banana Ice Cream (frozen bananas, spring water) with walnuts and cacao nibs
  • 1/2 c. spring water
  • 3 c. of kale salad (kale, tomato, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, garlic, nutritional yeast, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sea salt)
  • 4 pieces of cheese pizza
  • 2 c. spring water
  • 2 clementines
Today's Observations
Look, here's the hard truth: If it's the first day of my period and I want cheese pizza, I'm having cheese pizza. Dammit.
