Comforting the Kid

Sometimes it's not a good day to detox.

Note: Capitalized recipes are my own.

Day 41
  • 1 c. hot jasmine green tea with honey
  • breakfast out at The Good Egg: tofu and veggie scramble with hashbrowns and hot decaf Earl Grey tea with honey
  • 1 c. of marinated mushrooms
  • 1.5 NON-raw, NON-vegan chocolate chip cookies
  • snickies at a party: few bites of vegetarian chili, few bites of bruschetta with Italian bread, few carrots and cukes, few bites of mango pomegranate salad, small cup of red wine
  • 1/2 c. cooked brown rice and 2 c. Black Bean Soup (black beans, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, miso, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, nutritional yeast)
  • 1 c. of Banana Ice Cream (sesame mylk, frozen bananas) with 3Cs Chocolates
Today's Observations
TONS of cooked food today, but still feel like they were all pretty good choices. Something needed comfort today. I listened.
