Skin Meals

Did you know that your skin absorbs over 50% of what you put on it? Holy cow, now I need to start monitoring what my SKIN eats?!? LOL! Yep. Sure 'nuff. I am really careful about what I put on my skin. I don't wear make-up, only use essential oils for scents, and "lotion up" with a homemade cream made out of coconut oil, vitamin E, and essential oils. I've heard Ani Phyo say that she only puts things on her skin that she would eat. Great rule of thumb.

Day 131

  • cup of spring water
  • cup of hot yerba mate with stevia
  • few pieces of my lovely homemade raw vegan Almond and Raisin Chocolates
  • brown rice with raw butter, black pepper, and sea salt; Veggie Frittata (eggs, onions, broccoli, red bell pepper, garlic, chives, black pepper, sea salt); homemade sauerkraut; spring water
  • very small cup of Coffee Smoothie (espresso, ice, frozen bananas, frozen blueberries, lucuma, honey)
  • taste of our friends' Rebel-made chocolate sauce (I have no idea what the ingredients are, but I understand it's a top secret recipe!)
  • big glass of spring water
  • dinner out at Thai Dish: fresh veggie spring rolls; Veggie Pad Thai with tofu; spring water
  • cup of hot jasmine green tea with honey; piece of my lovely homemade raw vegan Almond and Raisin Chocolate

Today's Observations
Oh, my! Today was over-the-top day for food. Lots of rich, lots of cooked, lots of decadent! I've just gotten so into experimenting lately. I've been having fun!

  1. Yeah, Ani Phyo doesn't eat her makeup. She ALWAYS wears makeup. Does she put kale juice on her eyelids? Cacao powder as eyeliner?

    I am careful about everything on my skin. Makeup is my exception...as long as I buy quality.

    And trust me. You've seen my photos. A little makeup can really make a difference! (Now I sound like a grandmother. I better stop)
